SPA Yellow, corner of Greenville ave and Snuffers. What up? saw ya. I was parked getting a bite to eat.

On my way in to eat I had 2 people ask me "what model of car I was driving", "did that just come out"? No, its been out for a couple of years, replied, "that is the first one I have ever seen" they said.

Spa Yellow)Whoever that was, two minutes later, I saw you drive right by.

Almost killed my moment.

Hey that was me. I had dinner at Snuffers with a friend. What color is yours? I didn't see another S2000 there and I usually notice if one is around. Either that or my friend start going nuts when they see another one.

Weirdest thing happened to me. Right as I left Snuffer's to head out, a silver s2000 was right next me on Greenville. He zoomed right past me so I couldn't wave or anything. So I downshifted and sped up and got right next to him but still no acknowledgement. I was kinda pissed and hoping he would race so I could lay the smack down. But I had to take 75 North and I think he went onto 75 South. I really hope that wasn't you.

no, that wasn't me, I have a grand prix white/red interior.

I'd give the wave back and acknowledgement. We have a special bread of car that only we can understand.

Hope to see you again!

I was on the patio around 7pm I think?

Rick's, has some good accessories. I ordered the X-Brace by Mark Digrappa and ss brake lines. 2 weeks still out on the brace.

I have some friends that live on Miller, so I am out in that area every once in a while, not that often since I live in Bedford.

Are you in the N TX S2000 club?

I am going to try to make it to the next outing that is put together.

How do you like the SSR wheels?

I am thinking about going 18x9.5 on the rear and 18x8 on the front.

GT1's are solid one piece right?

I didn't know the GT1s were offered in a 9.5" width. Tirerack has 18x8 and 18x9. I chose to go with the 17s because they are a little lighter than the stock wheels. The 18s are little bit heavier but not much.

I try to make as many outings as I can whether they be official club meets or just impromptu mini-meets. See you around.

Kumar,

I haven't gotten a chance to use those wheels that I bought from you. My Kumho's have been on back order forever. I am hoping they are here in time for the next NTS2KOC autocross on June 1st, but I doubt they will. Are you going to come out for that?

CMIS2K,

I installed my Digrappa X-brace a couple weeks ago, and love it. The quality is amazing. I spoke to Mark Digrappa a few times about a strut tow brace that he is releasing "soon". It is similar in design to the X-brace, except it mounts vertically in front of the engine, with the intake tube going through it. That is going to be a seriously cool looking piece.

gt1's are only 18x9.

GT3's are 18x9.5

That is too bad on the brace "soon" to be released.

Comptech strut tower brace will be delivered on Monday, missed UPS on Friday, DC Sports Lower tie bar also on monday and AEM CAI on Monday. I went with the Comptech, because of Supercharger capabilities. I am focusing on the handling and chassis add ons for now, so that when I get the s/c, the car will be able to handle the power at the rear and through out. Cooling system upgrades/add ons will be next. Spoon hoses(they are blue though), thermoswitch, thermostat and cap. $1800.00 for am aluminum radiator right now is too much $$$. Hondata gasket it good for cooling, too much labor involved, my as well, replace fuel system and fuel injectors to handle a s/c and do it all at one time. So I am saving for one big build job in a year.

If anyone has seen red radiator hoses anywhere on this site, let me know.

I'll probably come out for the autocross since I'm out of school now but I don't see myself running.
