Greyhound shipping would be the cheapest for about $65 within the CONUS. Cons are that there's a chance the item could be damaged and Greyhound doesn't care and they buyer has to pick up at the local station.

If you open a FedEx Account you get a small discount on all shipping however the dimensions of the box might be too big for them to ship ground.

If you need a box try some performance shops or car dealerships parts department for spares.

+1 on Greyhound, but only if you can make your boxing nearly bullet proof. I would double box the bumper and buy a roll of large bubble wrap to help protect it. Make sure you insure that sucker and put address labels on the outside and inside boxes just in case. Once you have your boxes , see if you can cut down the boxes in any way.
Any savings in over all dimensions will save you money since they charge by size.

Yep, I agree with Greyhound! I used them to ship my old bumper! Wrap 1st with an old sheet or mattress cover to prevent scratches, then padding of some sort, then boxes. I duck taped the padding around the bumper to prevent it from sliding around. When I took it to GH it was almost 3x as fat due to the padding but was 100% protected! ~$80 I think is a standard rate.

If you happen to buy a dishwasher, the packaging, outside insulation fits bumpers, perfectly!
