sightings and rant included
if you aren't going to wave at a fellow S2K driver that's understandable cause you may just not understand the ownership bond. but when a fellow S2K allows you over in traffic and you don't even give a thank you wave you should have to hand over your keys right then.
tuesday I was headed home from work and saw a spa yellow with gunmetal wheels and tinted windows on 635 between 161(george bush) and 35.. no way to say "i I have one too" then after 35 he wanted over and I allowed him a spot to move over and not a single thank you wave.
then same day same drive home.. a sebring gets on at Preston and she has the top down and I wave and she doesn't wave back. then she wants over and again I allow her over. does she say thanks.. HELL NO!!!!
and today my G/f was goin to work in her van there was an NFR (year unknown) with license plate WAS HIZ (I have mixed feelings about this) she gave a wave and the driver waved back. COOL!

Outlaw, I think I've seen that Spa heading south on 75 a couple of times early in the AM. I always wave from across the freeway but the windows are too dark to see if there was any response. I alway wave at other S's, but I hardly ever see any others in my part of town. (east Plano).

I have to say my experiences are just the opposite. I don't see all that many ... but most seem to wave or certainly respond. Those of us in a 'certain age bracket' who grew up up driving farm/ranch vehicles waaay out in the hinterlands will always wave back. Heck ... that's why you learned to steer with only one hand. Shoot, if you're from outta' state we'll chase 'ya down just to talk. Sadly that doesn't work as well as it once did.

I think I get as high a percentage of waves from Z4 drivers, oddly enough. I haven't noticed its being common from drivers of any other roadsters. I've recently been snubbed by several S2000ers, and it's always so surprising considering the sort of driver I would think this car would attract.

You are right, and I can prove it.
