Skyline Sighting

The Skyline is a Japanese muscle car. It's heavy, has a big FI engine, and has AWD. It's really not that impressive. Sure, they're neat, but mostly just because we can't get them here.
And yes, 530HP out of a 3.2L engine isn't that astonishing. Remember the Supra turbo? People get 1000HP out of that 3.0L engine all the time.

How are these cars getting legalized? Motorex got in trouble for selling R34's. Have other companies crashed a few Skylines as well for legalization purposes? I've also seen/sat in a R33 owned by a shop here in Irving. Interior wasn't anything special, but I guess you don't buy one of these bad boys to enjoy the view from inside. Oh, and the thing was stupid fast.
I can say from experience, it is just like an S. Once you actually drive one, you want one.
They are worth the money IMO. Not to mention it's easy to make 700+ out of that car in stock form and a few minor goodies.

700hp with just a "few" upgrades? I really doubt that.
Oh yeah forgot the 4" exhaust, and 1200cc injectors, and aftermarket software, aftermarket wastegate, guess it's not a few afterall
Neat cars for their rarity, but they're not my thing.
It's like this Tuesday when I saw a McLaren Mercedes SLR for the first time since the Dallas Autoshow. The performance is neat of course, but, frankly, I think they're rather ugly and they don't do anything for me.

Totally misproportioned.
