My mother supervises at an old folks home in Richardson and had to work last night. So I offered up my services as a taxi driver since the Subaru is better equipped for this type of weather.

I must comment on the complete lack of understanding about the driving dynamics of pickup trucks by drivers in icy weather... You have a big V8 in the front, RWD, and barely any weight on your rear tires. WTF do you expect is going to happen when you hit the gas during a turn, or when the light turns green?

Sheesh.

Happy Friday everyone

I drove home in it last night. Not much fun. Being able to break traction in 4th gear just by mashing the throttle halfway isn't nearly as cool as it sounds.

Took out three lanes, and almost found myself in a huge ditch.
Never again.

seriously, saw alot of people in trucks hauling a$$ on the highways next to me going over bridges that had lots of ice on them and it made me a bit nervous (and I was in my EVO), also saw 3 trucks in total on 183 against guardrails who must have gotten brave and lost it , no one hurt, just grazed wall situations

Had no problem in the S around lunch on the all season tires. Mini was pretty good as well even with the RS2's as long as I didn't let the turbo spool.

Was that on 121 near Grapevine mills around 5:30 PM? I saw a red AP1 S2000 spun out on the other side of the highway. Hope you and your car are ok.
