Default SOLD

Well if any of you guys had read any of the problems with a vendor in California "fillmatic" - Final Level Garage, he ended up screwing over a bunch of customers, including myself, I lost lots of money to him etc etc anyways, I didnt get the 17s I had paid for and I had already bought some Falken FK451s used but are in VERY good condition, they look practically new, they still have the nipples etc on them. Im going to sell these for 300 obo, pm if interested, pics at request and also if you need to see them in person before you buy that is not an issue either .

$300 obo

225/45/17 x 2 for front

265/40/17 x 2 for rear

These tires have a good 90-95 percent tread left on them Look very fresh.

SOLD

I was going to use them on the Work Emotion XD-9 17x8.5 rears which I was told the 265s would fit. Local member is running 18x8.5 in the rear with 265 size tires on the rears also if that gives you an idea. I dont know what the stock sizes are on the 350Zs but my buddy can fit 265s on his stock 17s on the rears.

I have an AP2 though???? From what little I gleaned, it is recommended that 255 is the max for a 8.5 inch rim, but I would imagine a 265 would fit without too many problems?!?!? Am I dreaming?

265 will fit, only issues you would have is if you are lowered then you might have rubbing issues, the guy running 18x8.5 with 265 rears running Espilir springs and koni yellows said he had his rear fenders rolled a little because it rubbed.......but that was on 18s

Im on Ap2 wheels and with the 255 rear tires, it really grips the road. I can only imagine the 265's being much more gripper, but I kinda like my tail to break loose a little.

255 is pretty much the largest size you should put on a 8.5 safely. I'm sure that you could fit a 265 on there but it may be a bit too wide and may bulge in the middle causing premature wear and iffy handling.

I would reccomend a 9 or 9.5" wide wheel for 265+

That's what I've read, Cosmos....though I really wonder what kind of compromise would occur using a 265 on the 8.5 inch rim? I'm familiar with bulging, etc. but couldn't tire pressure manipulation smooth that out?

I think it is only because of the 40 profile that it is a problem. Many of us run 225's on 6.5 rims with no problem even though the recommended rim size is usually an inch larger, but that is with a 50 profile giving more sidewall to work with. The recommended rim size is 9.0 or greater so it is only a half inch off. I bet a motivated installer can get it on and if there is no clearance problems it should work.
