Default Sold the S

Well, after kicking it around for some time, I finally put the S up for sale and sold it this weekend. With the limited amount of use it had seen in the past year and the upcoming Wedding and pending purchase of a third house (temporarily) between the 2 of us, it was time for the S to go. I couldn't bear leaving it outside at the new house anyway and I figured it was time for someone else to enjoy it.

I think the new owner will be very happy with it and all the extras that came with it. I really enjoyed all the info and people on the boards and the few I've met in person. While I wasn't the most active person, I was always lurking in the shadows. I appreciate all the info and entertainment this club has provided over the years. I will own another S later on (the new wife will miss it, too). And I'll keep lurking just to see what's going on - and of course for those phone deals! (I promise I'll come see you, Tim!)

Good luck with the wedding, and house purchase.

I hate hearing stories like this, because it never seems like it was worth the sacrifice in the end.

But I do wish you and the future Mrs. well.

Sacrifice? The guy is trading a car on a house and wife. I don't think thats much of a sacrifice.

Good luck with everything though. Hope you find an S quick to round everything out .

I don't want to hijack this thread, but you're still very young Chopper.

I'll leave it at this:

S2000 > Wife/GF/House/house in suburbs with the white picket fence/2.3 kids and the golden retriver in the kennel.

Again, CONGRATS and best of luck to jmaatsch!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again guys!

I managed to make it almost 40 years, so I guess I've had my fun and found someone that enjoys many of the same things I do. Like I said, she misses the car as much as I do, but we do have Motorcycles that we'll be keeping and enjoying together. Once we get completely settled (~2-3 years) I'll have a nice "man land" that will have another S or something similar in it, among other things. (Next S might have to be SC'd, though.) Right now the focus is on Real Estate.
