Default Soreness

I have been experiencing a soreness in my left hamstring lately, and it seems to be getting worse. The thought occures to me that it was my clutch leg the other day and i was wondering if anyone else has experienced soreness after prolonged driving of manual transmissioned cars?

I'm planning to use the truck for a few days to see if it goes away...

you wuss

How much do you drive? Do you have to go through a lot of stop and go traffic?

I haven't had the problem - but I also have a pretty short commute down side streets.

I don't have that problem, the clutch in the S is pretty light. Go drive an E36 M3 for a week and your sore leg will probably fall off

My knees hurt a little after my drive down to austin but that was only because for like 2hrs I was in stop and go traffic. Other than that if its cool my knee might hurt for a little. Then again I've only been driving a stick for a few weeks

You need to start doing some high-rep hamstring curls, man.

Funny, I developed some tendinitis in my left shoulder in January when I started driving the manual tranny. Finally figured out it was my constant left-hand on top of the wheel improper driving position while always holding the shifter with my right.

See, that's the strange thing. I do not know if it's bc of the clutch, or if it's an after effect of my leg break. I do workout regularly, especially with the waterskiing, so I dunno what's causing it... :/

With all this bad weather, it will be easy to put the S out of commission for a few days and see what happens. I'll let yall know.

LOL. Try an old school Porsche 911...now THATS a leg workout! You don't so much drive to the gym to workout, you drive it to the gym for your workout! haha.

Doubt it's the clutch ... the truck has a very light clutch and the S extremely stiff & short (due to the ATS kit) and I've never noticed anything even after a lot of stop and go in the S.

Then again, no breaks here (knock on wood!)

The S2k used to beat up my back when I drove it to work everyday- I think it was the seat rather than the suspension (my stiffer Civic and Prelude didn't do that).

Never had a clutch/leg issue... though my knee did hurt sometimes, but that left knee has always been an issue for me.

I'm w/ marcucci, I've had issues w/ my back when traveling to see my sister (only a 4 hour drive!)... but never my knee/leg other than it hurting from a prior incident...

You might try a multi-vitamin if you don't get enough of all the good stuff...
