Thanks / Introduction / Setup Question
Thanks
I came out to the S2000 autocross on June 3rd and wanted to say thanks for the great hospitality. Everyone I met was helpful answering my S2000 questions and were willing to provide rides during the autocross.
Introduction
I just bought a red '02 S2000 yesterday! I've been autocrossing for eight or nine years and driving DEs for six years with the BMW and PCA clubs (BMW 325is and Mini Cooper S). The last five years I have instructed at autocross & time trial schools for both clubs. I'm always willing to take a passenger in my car or ride with someone .
Setup Questions
The car will mainly be used for DE events with an occasional autocross. I plan on running Toyo RA1 tires at the track. From the reading I've done on this forum and others I'm looking at running the same width tires front and rear and adding an adjustable front sway bar. Which sway bars should I consider?
Besides this forum where else should I look to purchase a set of used 16" wheels for the track?
Thanks in advance,
Terry

i dont know how much ur looking to spend but u can pick up a set of 16" rota slipstreams from the group buy section for $550 shipped. ive been thinking about getting those for track use. unless ur looking for stockies, just stick around they come up every now and then. good luck.
Nice to hear you found a S and made it to the forum. Hope you can come out and play in a future autocross. I would reccomend picking up some 17" wheels, it opens up a lot more options for new/used tire sizing and models especially in the RA1 (235/40/17 or 255/40/17)
