Default Weekend drive/stargazing trip

This trip will be a Sat-Sun trip, Feb 24-25, going to the darkest place in Texas, Canyon of the Eagles, on Lake Buchanan (near Burnet). This resort is known for being one of the best places in Texas to stargaze, and the Austin Astrological Society even has an observatory there. We're also looking into a trip on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, though lake levels have been low of late and it is a more of a Reappearing Texas cruise at the moment (low lake levels have exposed 2 towns submerged when the river was dammed to form the lake).

Keep an eye on the thread at the following link for more details! http://www.s2kca.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13024

Sounds like fun. However I can't make it because I will be attending our 1st Autocross of the season on Saturday.

Have fun,

Unfortunately, it clearly states in my outdoor annual that it is illegal to harvest any deer that has been killed in a manner not defined as legal by the TPWD. The S2000 deer catcher would fall outside the category of a legitimate bow or a rifle and therefore be considered illegal.
