They messed up my 700 dollar work wheel by trying to fix a slight bend. The wheel is discolored and the polished lip is all hazed up. They said they never fixed a 3 peice rim in their life, what a load of crap. It was too late for me to pull out since my wheels were already messed up whe n I found out.

 

make them buy you a new one.

 

I went thru VW because my friend works there so he signed a waiver before he turned the wheel in.

 

I strongly suggest taking that wheel to Wheel Repair by Adam. Last time I went in he had a set of HRE's, several Fikse wheels, and some other high $$ 2 & 3 piece wheels. They do excellent work and have state of the art reshaping and finishing machines. They are also very fair in pricing.

 

Argh but the studs are stripped so I dont think taking the wheel apart is possible, thanks for the suggestions.

 

You got a phone # for that place. I have a bent wheel that I wanted to get fixed.
