Some phones do very well on other networks and get a good rep, but won't work well on Cingular so people think it's Cingular because "the phone is so great"... it seemed that this was especially true w/ about half of the motorola models... Of course this goes both ways.

what kinda phone do you have? that makes all the diffrence in the world. sprint, for example. i literally have had almost every phone they offered (up until last month).... certain brands just did not get as good signal as others... cingular is no exception.. could even be that you have a bad sim card..
