Default Will 17x7 5-100 Rims Work All Around?

I am looking at a set of rims. They are four 17x7 5-100. I have a MY04 with the stock wheels now. Will that size work in front and back, and will the tires I have on my existing rims fit these? (215/45/17 NS 245/40/17) Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just want to be sure before I make an investment.

Not well. Can you even put 245s on a 7" rim?

What offsets? What bore sizes?

The S uses staggered rim widths, offsets and bore sizes.

+1.

And to expound a bit:
1) The bolt pattern is not correct. The S2000 has a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

2) You give no indication of the offsets, but I doubt they'll be correct for the S2000. It has pretty unique offsets.

3) I believe the rears would be a bit narrow for 245 width tires.

You can read more in the Tire & Wheel forum... I think there's a "Intro guide" or something that's stickied at the top.

TXRedHot: Sounds like you are looking at some Subaru wheels... the 05+ STI used 5x114.3 bolt patterns.... every other Suby I know of uses the 5x100.

Threadjack:
Casey, what happened to the Suby? I just watched your "For Sale" video the other day... it was pretty funny (or at least funny that you put that much time/effort into it).

Wow... I hope the insurance company gives you the full asking price that was offered by the buyer. You should get him to put something in writing, if you don't already have it. You shouldn't take a loss due to someone else's negligence.

Oh, and I'm glad you're (relatively) OK.

I should actually be getting more than private sale price... Insurnace pays what it would take to replace the car... should be close to $10K...
