The wire-rimmed collapsible type.

Yep... wire rimmed one... folds up small enough and it goes under the seat.

I got a pair of round collapsible ones at target, they have a silver reflective coating and work well. Also make sure to crack your windows a little to let the hot air escape.

I paid 9 bucks but it's not really hot enough to use it much anymore.

Eh, my M3 lived in TX it's whole life and sat in the sun and the black dash never faded but that's BMW quality for you

It doesn't hurt to use a sun visor but i'm too lazy to use one when it doesn't affect if i'm roasting in the car for the first 10 minutes after I get into it.

Got mine from HandAaccessories.com, custom fit and I think it was about $20. The dealers may have them also, but they may cost more!

I have the custom fit one as well. I shove it behind my seat (3-4" back there).
