There was an article in the DMN about 3 weeks ago about this. The DMN described them as the first of their kind in the area, apparently unaware of MSR.

A news station not fully clued in to the topic they are reporting on ... just like always

Anyone going to the opening tomorrow? I wouldn't mind skipping work to attend, but I'm not too excited about doing the drive w/o AC in a non-convertable.

I heard about it just last week. Since we're moving from North Richland Hills to Murphy (north of the PGTP and just east of Plano) at the end of the month, a track on the east side of the metromess would be welcome. MSR is about to get a lot further away for me.

Being a horse owner... I don't see the first two of these doing very well with the last one...

Hi, Neighbor! Where are you moving to? New construction or used house? And most importantly, how big is your garage? (I haven't seen any like Todd's out in this area). I'm on the Wylie/Murphy border, so we shouldn't be too far apart.

Hey neighbor.

We won't be too far from you at all - we bought a house just off of Murphy Road, north of 544 in Daniel Crossing. The house was built in '99, but it wasn't actually occupied until '03, since it was a display home for the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, it's just a 2-car garage, as I couldn't find anything like Todd's or Billy's in our price range in this area, either. However, after looking at 40+ homes in the Murphy/Wylie/Sachse area (many with 3-car garages), we just couldn't pass this one up - too nice, too clean, too many upgrades. Did I mention the current owner is throwing in the pool table in the gameroom as well?

Besides, it's about 6 miles from my office and about 4.5 miles from my wife's new school, so I'll probably sell the commuter car (and perhaps the Miata as well) and we'll go back to being a plebian two car household. I've been ready for vehicular shakeup in my household for awhile now anyway...

Wow... yup, you're probably just a couple miles from me, then. I'm off of McCreary and McMillan in the Creekside Estates subdivision. Once you get settle in, let me know... I'll fire up the grill and throw on a couple burgers & brats.
