A fellow S owner just asked me this:

Stupid question - do we have an emergency triangle in the boot? Where the toolbox lid fits there are two harness straps - I swear they were holding something in place before the service and something's gone - am I nuts or is there a long rectangular red box there normally?

Can't say I've ever seen what she's on about but does anyone else know as its an MY04 and things might be different with the 04?

 

Not in my car there wasn't.

Those 2 straps I thought where for holding the wheel in place after a puncture

Cheers Rob, that's what I thought. I suspect the red box she's on about was just one of her many handbags!

 

my g/f had a red-box once after sunbathing nude for too long (boom-boom )

 

 

THinking about 2 '04's that I had a look at recently and in both there was nothing in those straps at all. Def. no red boxes

 

MY04 - Moon Rock - doesn't have straps or triangle - no signs of red boxes either - CD case perhaps?? . . . am feeling left out - may go to Honda and order afore mentioned red box - unsure of contents?!

 

early 04 got the straps nothing else

 

feeling very left out now - must order some straps to hang there or maybe to hold something - perhaps a red box?
