Default 04+ rear light cluster

Can someone tell me where my fog light is supposed to be (preferrably with a pic of the light cluster please) , having upgraded the rear end of my car I appear to have two white lenses in the rear light clusters, shouldn't one of them (drivers side) be a red fog light lense and not white? Or is it a clever chrome coloured bulb in there that glows red or something ?

Or have honda sent the wrong lights packaged inccorrectly and the body shop have fitted them and I have only just noticed! They said they were struggling getting a bulb for the car!

Thanks for any info, NB I am talking about 04 - 07 rear clusters of course.

Thanks again

Yeah it should be red coloured!

But a double white reverse light and a pre MY00 fog light in the bottom of the bumper would look good! Obviously you would need to do some re-wiring cos you don't want a fog + reverse light coming on at the same time

Yeah, or perhaps I could leave it nice and balanced with the two white lights, and simply buy a fog light bulb and dip it in red bulb paint, nice balanced rear end and MOT legal too ?

I think I know what happened, I think HONDA have sent a left hand drive cluster along with a right hand drive one, hence the balanced rear, and lack of fog lamp.

Paul, looks like they've got it wrong, should be a red lens on the right side.

What happens when you turn it on, has the old fog position been re-wired to this position??!!!

Small picture but you can see:

On the bright side this is a mod that I have heard people considering to even up the back of the car! You may have got lucky here, only needs a red bulb.

Did you change the back bumper too, or have you still got the low level fog light aswell?

Thanks Gav - here is a blurred pic of the fog light on, my rear end (ooer missus) is all 04+ including bumper etc. Because its dark can't show you the back with the two clear lights, but they do look pretty cool actually.

Here is a daylight pic from a few days ago, can't see both lights together but can see the clear fog light

Just need a pic of the whole backend now, will sort something over the weekend

Thanks for your help people.

Your look probably looks better, with a nicely balanced rear end!

I have 2 clear ones but one came from the states. Both are reversing lights as I have a rear fog lamp in the centre below the number plate

I prefer the symetrical look

I think I would just accept it as good luck rather than misfortune and stick with it. Maybe you could change the bulb for an LED type in the future, I say that because the LEDs are clear colour when off so you would retain the clear look.

OK thanks for your help everyone, yes I think I will accept it as good fortune, i do like the symmetrical look, and the bulb although red doesn't show through the white lense so all is good.
