04 Wheel corrosion.
Bit of a personal repost, but my 04 has corrosion on the inside rim of the wheels,
(all four), probably caused by brake dust left to attack them by the first owner.
Anyway has anyone had similar and had any luck with replacement under
warranty. Local dealer was uninterested when my 02 had oxidised rims.

So has my 05
I was surprised to find they are bare alloy, no paint, no laquer
I had to use fine wet and dry with WD40 to get the corrosion off the inner rims.
My old Boxster was seven years old when I sold it and the wheels were still like new!
I would also be very interested to know Honda's reaction to corrosion on the wheels where you can't easily see it.
