Default 04 Wheel Refurb

I appreciate there have been a lot of posts on this but have done a search and can't find what I'm looking for.

I am wanting to get my wheels refurbed pretty soon and would like some help on what effect to get, does anyone have any pics of refurbed 04 wheels?

I was thinking white wheels might look good on a Silverstone car but is anthracite and silver a better option?

Any pics to show what the finished effect might look like and opinions gratefully received. Thanks.

Just had mine done 2 weeks ago

These are smoked chrome fading to black

Aquila Eagle had anthracite on silverstone and I think it looks good IMO

Hopefully someone will be along with pics soon

That polished finish looks ace s2000malta

Had mine done the standard diamond cut finish a few weeks ago, here's my thread:

I am a fan of the polished look s2000malta and MIP have gone for, just concerned over the durability of the finish, how are you guys finding them, still looking good?

Been looking at the silverstone thread from across the pond and am quite liking these two finishes:

White:

Silver & Black:

Bit torn though as I really like the white, just wonder what potential purchasers will think when I come to sell, maybe the silver and black then!

Silver always looks natural. I found that putting lacquer on the polished part is not long term so i have them in bare aluminium and put an aluminium sealant over them (Carlack nano system care).
The insides were sprayed at a sprayer using pure silver and coverered with a laqcuer. The only boring bit is the masking - it has to be done well.

HTH.

The people that did mine have put quite a bit of laquer on it, and it's still on there so far, only been 3 weeks though. I did coat them in poorboys wheel sealant as well when I got them back.
