Default 07 S2000 - Engine and Performance Question

Hi,

I pick up my S2000 on Thursday - can't wait (very excited)

However since laying down the deposit I've been doing research and have a few questions.

1) I understand the US and Japan cars have 2.2i litre engines which supposedly have better performance at lower revs? Does anyone find problems with the performance of the 2.0i engine?

2) Has the UK 2.0i engine changed since its inception in the UK 9 years ago?

3) My car has 88 miles on the clock and is priced at

There were a few minor changes over the engines life. 04+ engines use much less oil, valve retainers are stronger, internal oil spraying changed (though there was a recall for this on the earlier cars), the map sensor fixing changed, ecu and engine maps changed to give slightly more torque lower down and soften the VTEC change over.

On 06+ honda introduced the drive by wire throttle which seems to have the effect of eliminating the kangarooing problem in stop start traffic that affected some of the pre 06 cars.

PS it'll be cheaper because the 08 cars come with different wheels and suspension so they'll be looking to get rid of the pre 08 cars.

its prob been sat in the showroom for ages - make sure you have a good look at the paint work as its prob had peoples paws all over it ! when you pick it up take a very bright torch and go over ever pannel... anything your not happy with get them to sort it ! no point getting it home then finding in the light of the garage there is a swirl mark caused by bad polishing
