Default 18 inch wheels

Hi all

The search function is offline at the moment before I get flamed!!!

How many current owners have 18 inch wheels at the moment? Please could you post a side profile photo for our viewing pleasure!!

I have been looking for a good set of 17's but now im contemplating going up to 18's instead. I dont use mine for track use so I dont think I will suffer to much.

Haven't you seen those threads on "18 for show 17 for go"

Ever since seeing that Supercharged Holden on Top Gear go way slower than the stock model down to the wheels, I've been put off larger wheels.

IIRC there are only a few wheels on the market with an offset suitable for the S - so choices are limited.

I do agree with you but I just cant find any 17's that I like.

Went to the stealer and priced up the new 5 spoke 09's and then came in at 1200

Right hand bend

Left hand bend

Without the cornering forces changing the clearance they look fine - must get more pics

I went for 18 looks and now need to add some Tein lowering springs to complete.

I don't often push so close to the perormance limits that I need the lighter weight, the 18s seem to corner better anyway.

Personal preference.

You pays your money and....
