Default 2 beeps?

Sometimes I get 2 beeps from behind the dashboard when I'm driving. It's not the handbrake and it's certainly not anything to do with the fuel gauge as it was full once when it did it. No engine light on?

Any ideas?

I get that when I press the middle of the steering wheel twice. Weird.

A big help I am.

Isn't there a seat belt warning beeper? Maybe a sensor/switch has failed?

AE - I don't think I could record it as it's random, i.e. never did it this morning?

The sound is not the horn!!! It's not coming from the speakers either. It's like it's coming from behind the volume button on the dash to the right of the wheel.

strange!!

Most likely the radio which bleeps if it loses signal. This always sound like to comes from near the radio controls on the dash as it comes out of the tweeter.

2nd most likely is seatbelt warning system has a loose connection. This makes 2 beeps which come from behind the dash if it thinks setbelt is not done up.
