Default 2 Button remotes


I had the Honda 2 button remote used on the 01 cars for my.. well 01 car. The rubber buttons are rubbish and the remote is pretty cheap (period carper), after a couple of years as a daily driver it looked like the remote for a proper jalopy and the buttons were half eroded away. the honda bit had fallen off.

I moved onto one of the spares. The dorris then decided that she wasn't pressing the button hard enough on the other 'spare' and stabbed it with another key thus knackering it (but amazingly opening the car).

So now i had 3 fairly tired remotes. I was at a bit of a loss, one was dodgy functionally, the other two looked awful. You see them come up on fleabay ocassionally.

Dorris then lost a key to the vectra. Our local key place did these (something needs programming on them so i was ill at ease only ever having one - which she tried to throw in the bin btw!) and while i was there i asked him about the honda remote and bam.. sorted. It cost about

you can buy new remotes now and program yourself for aprox

Where can you get the new rubber buttons and casings for a tenner? Could do with a new one for the Teg and S2000
