Default 2002 Facelift Changes

Does anyone know if there were any engine changes with the 2002 facelift?
There's alot of of stories on here of earlier engines going bang - is the no.4 con rod problem particular to the pre-2002 facelift cars?
I'm trying to decide how close to 100K I should risk going in my 2002 S.

No engine changes at all, but all the recalls were sorted before 2002 was released

My 2002 S has 191k on it runs like a dream

First engine went pop, but that was my fault (overheated, head skimmed, thrashed it, threw a rod)

Mines on 70K at the minute, I'm trying to decide if I should keep it for 3 to 4 more years or sell it fairly soon. Although I don't think I could bring myself to sell.
I had an FTO once that I ran from 30K to 160K in the space of 7 years and it never let me down once. I changed the oil every 5k and it still felt smooth on the day I sold it.
