Default 2002 model

Anyone have a clear idea what sort of new silver Honda have in store? Can you still order a 2001 model?

Often.

Got another brochure in the post today for some reason -
But neither it nor the website seem to have caught up with 2002
Although the brochure has a revised price list in it - small blip upwards
When does 2002 happen in Honda terms?

The 'new' silver is to be 'old' silver!!! ie Sebring Silver - which Honda have been using throughout their range for a good many years now - my '93 Prelude was Sebring Silver. It is a really nice bright silver but it is an absolute pig to match if you need panel damage repairing

there was a huge flame on one of the US boards about whether the 2002 had a glass rear window. Someone claimed that a dealer had promised them one with the new model. Anyone hear any more about this or was it, as most people suspected, horseshit?

Most definitely the latter, although to be fair to the original poster, the info had come from a dealer

The U.S. Party that went to Togichi and have the inside info aren't taking it seriously

The Sebring Silver is basic silver like every other car on the road, seems a shame to lose the more individual feel of the Silverstone.

Isn't it interesting that its named after a US race track, answers the question about where the pressure to change came from !

Why are the dealers saying that the S2000 will stop production by the end of this year since it was only suppose to be a limited run car?

LOL Sales Hype.... The production looks set for at least 10 years. I'm usually able to tell my dealer more about what's going on than he knows....Without a doubt the s2000 will be subjected to changes and improvements like any other model.
