Default 2005 Front lip

Ive been after an OEM style front lip for ages as i think they look great but cant find any aftermarket ones available. There are loads of the 99-03 available but 2004-2006 seem to be very thin on the ground. Honda want me to re-mortgage my house to be able to buy one from them and they wont sell me one without the naff boot spoiler(no offence meant people with boot spoilers)

Ive found this which is carbon fibre..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...hlink:middle:uk

Would it be a problem painting this? As i want to colour code it to match the car and knowing nothing about carbon fibre was wondering if this would be an issue..

Anybody have any experience with this lip?

Any advice please..

Many thanks,
Paul.

I do not have any experience with carbon but i believe it can be resprayed easily. Why don't you ask the shop where you want to buy the carbon OEM lip.

Also check this one.It might be cheaper. It is OEM style

Also you can contact hardtopguy, Jeff for an OEM. It still going to be cheaper than Honda UK including import taxes and Jeff can spray it also to your prefered colour.

You have done well to get a price for the front spoiler on its own from a uk dealers as they won't sell them on their own, just as a package
