Depending on how the finished article looks I may well be interested in an amber one.

Mmmm.. I'm sure this hasn't been an easy development process and it could look great. The weight of the shift knob is crucial to good shifting though, and I wouldn't want to compromise that. I'll wait for the pics/spec I think.

What about this idea then guys. Driving home tonight and thinking about it, I'm sure any of the three colurs would work well as there is red and amber in the speedo display and other illuminated switches. Blue would work too as part of the illuminated band around the rotary heater dial is also blue. And it looks as though it's going to be an easy install.
The blue would look good IMHO. Anyone who has a PS2 with that cool blue LED will know what I mean. I just can't make my mind up.

So:-
(a) Is it a good idea.
(b) Is it really in keeping with the concept of the S2000

and most troubling:-

As I've already stated in the link you had running on the US forum, I'm definitely up for one. However there is a fine line between it looking good and it enhancing the cars features and well to put it bluntly, looking bloody naff. Love to see some pictures and more details, but count me in!

I was initially drawn to the Amber to match the dash display, but driving home last night it occured to me the blue would look cool next to my Alpine head unit - the 'window' display is blue and white
