Default 8 days to go....

Well the car will finally make it to the UK next Friday! I can't believe it!

Quick question - will I be able to register the car on the same day if I take the doucments to my VRO?

Has anyone got the number of the Honda where I get the homoglation (sp?) pack?

Tut Tut Mr Angry

Just because NEED4SPEED has nearly got his brand new shiny S2000 and you haven't does not give you the excuse to throw your toys out of your pram. Now apologise to the nice Mister Need4speed and don't do it again

Seriously though......

Everything comes to him who waits. It's just very painful waiting. But it will be worth it in the end I promise you

Just take all your paperwork to a Honda dealer, speak to the service manager, tell him you want to register your car with Honda UK. He will know exactly what you are talking about. I believe the homologation pack just tells you this.

Actually just for a laugh, before you talk to the service manager, go and tell one of the sales people that you need to register the car with Honda UK and then tell us what the response is. I got the head tilted slightly to one side, a concerned look as if I was about to be informed that I had a week to live, and a "Register? I'm sorry we don't deal with grey imports here"

Hey Ben - take a chill pill dude! I know exactly how you feel! My car is exactly 1 month late and I was feeling ten time worse than you - but now that I have booked the collection and the insurance is sorted - everything is falling into place!

Moor deybe - thanks for the info! I'm gonna pop into my local Chiswick Honda and see what they say - afterall they are a flagship dealer!

Thanks!!!

OK, OK I'm sorry already! Sheesh.

I would be feeling better if I had a date to look forward to, not just a provisional 20 weeks after the order date.

Knackers.

If it makes you feel any better Ben, I didn't know until 1 month before the car was due!

I reckon you car could have been delayed because of the problem with the oil. Not sure if you know but Honda Belgium had several technicians from Japan to inspect the cars before they were released to their respective destinations.

Anyway, don't worry you'll be okay!

Tin Tin,

if CCS are messing you around why not go and get it yourself? Or Ferry will delever it to a UK port for you.

I'm planning to collect mine from Ferry on the 22nd.
