Default An 80 hour week...

I have worked my ass off this week and clocked a sweaty 80 hours so I am going to treat myself! I'm thinking either a decat or induction kit. The car had the exhaust modification done at the start of the week so it's only a little louder than stock. My main question is, are the budget decat pipes available actually any good? I'm happy to pay more, didn't know if I needed to? And is my best bet really the fipk?

With no other mods a decat won't do a lot.

Intake wise, do a search as there are literally thousands of topics.

Comgrats on the hard graft though!

Interesting, would it make much difference in noise if not performance?
Thank you for your reply!

It might sound a touch different as there's less to absorb sound, but won't be much.

AEM V2 is very popular (i got 380 ish results on the search) I use it on my race S2000.

Induction kits are perhaps the biggest rip off going.

For a kick off, K&N filters are made in a sh1tty unit and cost a couple of quid each. I'd be amazed if the others differ TBH.

After all, pipe is just pipe and if you think paying £300 for an induction kit is getting you anything other than a £295 sticker, you're mistaken.

Buy a cheap ebay one for the piping and stick a re-cleanable filter on the end - sponge one is best.
