Drove to Scotland on Saturday (not in the S) morning, on the way stopped to fill up just off the M74, diesel was 99.9p/litre Ultimate was 98.9p/litre and normal unleaded was 92.9p/litre feck me, at this rate we will see

I paid 83.9p/litre for unleaded this morning at Asda.

Interesting how prices vary depending where you live!

If you go to Tesco's in Stevenage you can buy 99RON for 85.9p/litre!!! That's 14p/litre cheaper and it's better fuel!

The one in Camberley certainly does San but I've not been to any other Tesco's anywhere and I haven't tried the fuel yet in the S either.

Do you think you'll notice the (what is it, 7 BHP?) improvement ?

92.9p per litre at my local Optimax station yesterday,and I thought that was a disgrace!

98.9 for Optimax at the Shell garage between Bath and the M4 yesterday, 89.9 at the Shell garage (Sainsbury's) at Garston, Watford for the same.

I can assure you that the prices Bigfecker's referring to are not representative of fuel prices elsewhere in Scotland. We all know that motorway services charge scandalous prices, and this appears to be an example.

There are three Shell stations near me and there's a 6p spread in Optimax prices. Naturally I go to the cheapest, but I don't understand why the others charge so much more
