Default Advice on clutch

I am upgrading my Supercharger kit from TTS to the full race kit: 500+ BHP and 300TQ.

I need to get a new clutch as mine is destroyed.

I would like to get a clutch (not a 6 puk) for road and track use.

What clutch should i go for and pressure plate / disc?!

It has been reccomended to me to go for a ACT clutch but no idea which one etc.

any help would be really appreciated

I was useing the act clutch kit(organic clutch disc) and thought it was a very good clutch, but unfortunately it let go the other week, and it only has 6000 miles on it:-(,I'm not sure why it failed, but will find out in a week or so.
I've decided to go for the act 6 paddle this time round.the tourqe rating jumps upto 475lb,which might be better for my turbo setup,
I reckon the act street kit should be fine for you,it's not a heavy clutch and isn't on/off,

Should i go for a really high Tq rated kit then? or the '299TQ' one when My TQ is actually 295?

not sure of the difference between 'rigid' and 'sprung' clutches? but...

looking at: 'MB1-SPSD - Sport/Perf Street Rigid' or the second option (both rated at 299) 'HC7-XTSS - XT/Perf Street Sprung'?

I run a CC stage 2 on mine when it was supercharged which felt just like oem, dunno if it will manage 500+ and 300 tq tho.

That's the clutch I was useing, and I think it will be fine for your setup,Defo get a sprung clutch and not a rigid one.for day to day driving that clutch was great

Out of interest, what did it cost you for the upgrade from tts? I was looking to do this myself in the future, consisting of larger intercooler and pipework. Pm me!
