First you wont get that Invidia near a UK track, ever. Even with bungs in.

Second, its LOUD and having heard the Spoon there ain't a lot in it.

I had the one on the left in the pics. Sounds nuts if you can live with it!

It will bolt right on, the only change was to add dual rubber hangers on the back boxes on the facelift UK cars.
The early pipe still fits new cars just fine and visa-versa, you just won't have the back hanger.

In Pie's photos above, the later post 04 (?) is on the right, the early AP1 on the left.

All I know, is that its probably the loudest exhaust you can get for the S2k.

It will make your ears bleed! It will also drone even with a decat and you will have less than zero chance of it passing any track noise test.

Depends how it's measured.

My stock exhaust was measured at 94dB@7krpm at Goodwood last year. They are more strict than most places though with the measuring distance much closer to the car.

Cadwell measured me at 92dB@6krpm

Noise limits vary from circuit to circuit.

ok thats interesting,

normally the rule is 45deg downwards at 1m away from exhaust tip, they will measure both if you have twin exit.

my main worry is japfest as got my track time booked already and they are pretty strict

Castle Combe is 1/2 a metre away at 4,500rpm according to this: http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/trackd...information.asp

although the rpm limit may well be higher for S2000s, as most circuits measure at 3/4 of maximum rpm which is 6,750rpm for us.

i may give them a call to find out before i fit the system,
or take it to my local magnaflow exhaust company and have a bigger mid-box welded in place.

pretty sure at close to 7k it would be over the limit

Thanks for the advice guys I will not be using it on the track just on the road, I'm used to very loud my DC2 had a spoon N1 and I loved that. Found a couple of UK companies that will do it for a similar price taking into account the import tax and VAT that is so may buy it from them instead.
