I'm a new boy so be gentle,

I recently bought an AEM cold air intake for my 2009 S,

The shop I bought it from gave me a 21-504, When I unpacked it, I noticed there was no place to insert the IAT sensor.

Also on the box it said it was for 2000-2003 models.

I contacted the seller and explained this and said that the kit I wanted was a 21-690.

They said they dont have this and they never have had it because it is for the 2.2 engine.

They also said they have sold a lot of this kit (21-504) and never encounted a problem before.

before I demand my money back......am I missing something here!!! is this part actually correct and I need to do something to the IAT

sorry if this has been covered before, new member, new owner.

 

My '08 has one, not sure on the part number and the previous owner had it fitted. I took these for someone else on here though, perhaps they help?

That looks like it's been added afterwards, guess all you need to do is drill a hole and find a fitting grommet

 

Any Idea where to get a grommet for the IAT

 

Its the same for the jdm password intake. There must of been some changes between ap1/1.5 and ap2.

 

I fitted a V2 to my 09 S. You drill another hole for the IAT. I just siliconed it in place to make an air tight seal. Bobs your uncle. A sound job....literally!
