Default AEM EMS Base Map

In preparation for driving up to Jockland for the Arran meet .....

I am looking for an AEM EMS map that I could use if I had problems with my SC and had to remove the belt. Can anyone point me in the direction of a EMS map that I could use on a standard(ish) car but with 750cc injectors?

My other option would be to use the OEM ECU but I believe that I would also have to swap the injectors to do this.

You would haveto swap the stock injectors back in and tbh the problem would be getting a stable map for a stock engine using 750cc injectors as they are massive.

Why would you hav problems with your sc anyway?

Might be very tricky to find a map for that Steven. I guess TTS would be a good prot of call, or maybe the AEM forums.

I had the same issue when I took off the SC.

I didn't have stock injectors to swap back in either.

I even went so far as to use a VAFC with all the injector duty turned down to max - 50% (360cc -> 750cc), and that didn't work.

I could have used the stock SC map, but it'd only use the -ive boost part of a larger map.

I ended up speaking to MASE who sorted me out a map.

I then got it tuned a few months later as an NA & 750cc. And then got that map tweaked as it'd stall occasionally when cold.

So you have a map you could supply to Steven then, Ben?

Sounds like you have an NA 750 map... Even if it's roughly right it will be useful as a limp home option.

car should be fine to drive on the sc map without belt if you stay under vtec xover - eSem you changed your vtec point to 5k yet or is it still super low ?

I would need to check my old emails to see if I still have it.

And would need to speak to MASE to make sure it's okay to pass on. As I know he'd only want it to go to a customer of his

Steven, drop me a PM with your email .. and I'll have a look.

At my last tume Mase set my VTEC so that it only engages if I go into boost, above 4300revs.

This would mean that, without the belt, I would not be able to engage VTEC and I should be OK to drive the car up to ~ 7000rpm

KK is correct.

As long as there is no boost and you aren't flooring it, it should be fine to limp home.
