Default Aftermarket Wheels

Hi im still playing with the thought of lowering my car on after market wheels, but would prefer to stay clear due to the fact ive lowered cars in the past and had problems. My problem is as most of you know putting aftermarket wheels onto the S looks silly without lowering it because of the wheel arch gap.
So has anyone put aftermarket wheels on there S without lowering it and pulled off a nice look? Pics would be nice.

Cheers guys.

17" look better 'unlowered' than 18" IMHO.

Good, that's why I am looking at 17"s, not really fussed about looks or lowering. I use the car everyday and want the handling

In that case you need to start look at Mugens, Volks, Rays, etc

Reduced unsprung weight is the way forward my son

The Rota's are almost as light I believe ? Certainly lower inertia moving the tyre closer too.

I have 17" OZ superleggeras on my Rover, don't think they suit the S2000 though.
Interestingly the actual tyres weigh more than the wheels (7kg/wheel Vs. 7.5kg for the tyre - 205/40/17)
