Question Agghh...

Right guys i'm after a bit help from the technical library.....

The picture below shows some dudes nice new cusco brace. What i'm wanting you to look
at is the black lower strut bar (fitted as stock), but in the main the red circles that show the
fixing nuts and bolts.

My issue is on the passenger side (right of pic) the two bolts and one nut that are suposedly
securing the bar are not there!?!? Only one bolt remains To make matters worse the
drivers side only has one bolt but this is not full tightened!!

Basically i need to know what size (or honda codes) i require to order two bolts and one nut!
I've asked my local stealer ( Springfield) over the phone but they want the car to
measure up, ensuring they get the correct ones!

MUPPETS!!

Holy cow!! Not good.

By chance I have a copy of the page from the Honda service manual to hand.
Ignore the red and blue outlines.

You can click on the image to enlarge it. By the sounds of it your after the 10 x 1.25mm bolts/nuts. No part numbers I'm sorry to say, but this should be enough to get what you want.

Hope this helps.

The bolts are: Flange Bolt 10x16 (dia x length) Part No. 95701-1001608.

The Flange nut is 10mm. 94050-10080.

Been trying to put these bloody bolts in and i've knacked my socket..... managed to get
one in half way then it was extremely tight?? I'm not being a muppet as the bolt is straight
and not wonkey! - does anybody know if they get progressively tighter?

Suggestions please?

They can be.

Especially since the frame may have distorted by diving around nutless.

You might try standing the car on level ground & not jacking it - that seems to work on mine. Yes you can reach them & do it on the floor!

I found this works best for fitting X braces as well.
On stands the front tends to droop!

I did have the car on ramps (front end only raised), presumebly that won't have helped?

The problem is i bought the car in August from a friend who is currently travelling (OZ) so
i can't ask him if it had been off for work.... so basically don't know how long it has been like
this! Hope no real damage has been caused

I'll give it a try on my drive....
