Pros: Nice noise.

Cons: Loss of a couple of BHP, more kangarooing esp. when it's warm, and a humming noise when idling. And your filter gets dirty more quickly.

I should probably add that that doesn't really matter, as you'll be driving everywhere at 8000rpm so you can listen to the roar.

Chablonski, considering the amount of discussion this subject has attracted in the past, may I suggest reading the FAQ? The information is already there. Using the search toolbar is a good idea too...it should prevent the same question getting asked time and again

There are two search bars, the top one searches the whole of S2ki, the one below it searches that forum only IIRC. I usually sort the posts by date (left hand side of the results) as newer posts usually have links to useful info if the the topic has been covered before. If you search the whole site, you can select which forum to view posts from (UK, US etc).

The site is pretty good once you get used to it, I probably spend more time on here than I should (because I've run out of stuff to revise atm, and get bored easily), so have picked up the ropes fairly quickly, and see alot of questions getting asked regularly.

The info you required is in the FAQ here:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=301506

Just scroll down to the section regarding air intakes...bob's your uncle.

Please don't feel like I'm having a go, as I'm not, but 99% of the questions you'll ever need to ask have been covered before.

I'll still take you up on your offer of Whiskey and Fish 'n' chips though!
