Nashby, try having a search my friend.

This is possibly the 10000000 time this topic has come up

You can either epalce the element with a K&N or similar, and add a snorkle, or go for a new airbox.

PS - that's some list of vehicles!

i'm not convinced on the k&n cone filter replacement being of benefit other than it's washable and leaving airbox lid off will lose you a small amount of power

K&N would be my choice if you are replacing the OEM one.

4x4 panda is the daddy

Think my dad had a Y plate old one!

just meant that even with the k&n if you have air box lid off you will lose a bit of power, true?

In theory yes.

I think on the move the heat soak is less of an issue.

The only reason for removing it is nice noise, and you sacrafice a bit of throttle response power.

The K&N will flow a bit more air.

But if you want the best of both you have to go for a different design airbox.
