Hi all,

I purchased a car for BG back in September and have been extremely happy with it. However, of late the alarm has been going off randomly in the early hours (always seems to be between 4-5 am for some strange reason), so I rang up my local Honda dealer and they said they would take it in but wouldn't be able to diagnose the problem unless the alarm went off whilst it was at the garage - so the chances are it probably won't go off.

So I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help with.

Firstly, does anyone know whether the alarm that comes with BG car is a factory fitted one? I ask because when I spoke to the garage they reckon it could be one fitted at the dock. Does that sound right?

Secondly, does anyone know if there's a manual for this newer alarm (3 button fob). I found the manual for the 2 button one but unfortunately the button presses do not translate - specifically the code to tell me which sensor has tripped the alarm

Thirdly, where abouts are the sensors located on the car as I thought it might be worth me giving them a check and clean. I had a look under the bonnet for one but couldn't find anything obvious.

Any help you can give will me greaty appreciated (especially by my neighbours)

From 04 onwards the S2000 alarms were factory fitted.

You should therfore be able to take it to your local Honda dealer and get them to fix any problems with it under warranty.
