Default Alarm Sensivity Adjustment

Since replacing my battery my alarm keeps going off when I have the top down.

I've been told that the alarm sensivity will need to be reset.

Having completed a search I have found a few references, but no instruction.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Nick

No matter how weak it is set they will still go off with top down.

Press the lock button for a second time when roof is in down position to deactivate the interior sensors.

Do you get any notification that the internal sensors have been switched off (i.e. lights flash)?

Cool, I'll give it a crack because I don't usually set the alarm when the roof is down, just the immobiliser.

Thats because someone had programmed the alarm to personal taste and now it has gone back to the factory settings.

Need to look in my alarm book under programming but TBH I would keep it how it is now and do what I said with the second press. It does flash the indicators again on the second press to let you know that interior has been deactivated.

Lloyd you spacker!

You've gone completely full circle on me.

I know it's gone back to factory settings and needs to be adjusted back to how it was before.

But I don't know how to do this! Hence the bloody post.

Does anyone know?

I liked it the way it was before.

There is a way of adjusting the sensitivity but I can't find the instructions for the OEM system. Still searching...
