Unhappy Alarming behaviour

Did a search and couldn't find anything, so apologies if this is an old chestnut ......

Out in the S from about 7-8.30 a.m, weather cold, roads wet but otherwise OK.
Park him up in the drive, alarm on as usual ... no worries.
Around 3.30 it throws it down with rain and is drizzling when I go outside at 4pm.
Blip the alarm, open door, get in, seat belt done up, start the engine (still love pressing that button!!) ...... and the bloody alarm goes off!!!

Why's that then???!!!????

Assuming you've got one of the plippers like mine below, you may have simply pressed the button by mistake when you got in. In my case, the plipper presses against some of the other keys on my key ring and this is enough to arm it.

Certainly never had any alarms problems that were weather related.

Snap! Mine's just like that!
I guess I could have done and not noticed

I couldn't get it to stop until I turned the engine off which was really embarassing as my neighbours were out in the drive at the time

Mine seemed to lock itself on Wed. Luckily I had the roof down, and the spare set in my pocket.

Otherwise i'd have been well Fooked, as the keys were in the ignition!
