I've recently had the headlamps replace on my car (wont go into why), and when it was all wired up again the cars lights and the dash instrument panel lights flash when breaking.


Will be looked at by an electrician tomorrow but I

 

If they butchered the loom in order to do the upgrade (!) it may be a shorting problem, as opposed to a loose earth.

 

I hope they haven't butchered anything but will have to wait and see.

Also I was told that a weak battery could cause this as well. Any truth in this?

Does the panel lighting do a hard on/off, or just dimming in a cyclical fashion?
