Default Alloy Wheels

Hi

I'm new to the forum, only got my "S" last week, and still can't get rid of the "cheshire cat" grin on my face!!

Can anybody give me the names/numbers/web pages of any decent Tyre/wheel suppliers in the Midlands.

Alternatively does anybody know how much a new S2000 alloy cost, as I've just noticed one of mine has a bit of Kerbing.

Appreciate any feedback

Martin

Martin,

If you locate any decent wheels let me know as I'm looking to replace my corroded ones, Honda told me yesterday that the 00 wheels are around

Thanks for the info about the Honda wheels. I'm going to pop into a place in Warwick who I've used before when I had my Lexus. They're called Silverline, very professional and resonable on the pocket. I'll let you know if I come across anything interesting!

Cheers

Welcome coxyboy1
You're a jobber at Gaydon right? Or are you a permie
My other half followed you home for a while the other day - her lift share knows who you are!

I'm at MG Rover for my sins.

I'm also on the lookout for new alloys - my car is a '00 and the wheels are getting a bit shabby now.

Let us know what you find!

Happy ing.

Freak not coxyboy1 - both me and my girlfriend are jobbers!

So what do you think of the S? and - did you kerb the wheel yourself? I misjudged the front of mine and slightly kerbed my nearside front - after about half an hour of driving it. Doh! Doesn't look too bad though. But - as the dreaded corrosion is becoming more apparant, I've got to do something about them soon - they're starting to let the car down

Yup, it was me!!

Caught the rear nearside coming out of the Shell station in Leamington, thankfully only scuffed the wheel. My mate managed to total the rear end of his Puma Racing (all aluminium at the back!!) and received a nice bill for

Yes it is, I tried to blag a new set of wheels yesterday but Marshall Honda didn't want to know as wheels aren't covered by extended warranty...

I would suggest ringing Honda UK customer service about the wheels and that your unhappy that they are only 3 years old and they are corroded.

There is a possible recall on all 00/01 wheels in the spring time.
