Default Alpine Sat Nav Installed

Installed by Alpine INA-N333R Sat Nav yesterday, all in all took about an hour, but would of been almost impossible without this site for reference!

Only two wires particular to the sat nav, speed pulse which is connected to the car's VSS wire under dash, and handbrake wire just connected to earth under dash

If anyone's interested in pics of these I can do them.

After reading about 7 warnings of being carefull pulling out the piece of trim under the passenger dash, I managed it breaking the tabs in the process luckily it's a 20 second walk to the stealer to order another!

Only thing left is to mount the autochanger under the seat and to decide where I'm going to put the GPS Ariel...

Nice one

Been thinking about getting the N333R. I'll go for it if you can post some pics of wiring.

Slightly off-topic but your picture reminded me to ask:

What is the funny thing on the inside of the radio cover for?

I always thought it was for a very flat pair of Japanese sunglasses.

The autochanger I have with it plays MP3's yep

The autochanger is a good idea to get, then you can keep the Nav Disk in the HU all the time and your music cd's in the shuttle
