Alternative 12v feed
Recently had a Clifford alarm fitted and its died. Its tapped into the same 12v feed(main igniton i beleive) as my boost controller and AEM gauge. It seems the boost controller is spiking and is playing havoc with the alarm control box. If we take the boost controller/AEM of the circuit it is fine. Knowing absolutely nothing about car electrics i have been advised by the alarm fitter to have it rewired with a fuse and to be fed of a different source. I fitted the AEM so maybe thats half the problem
Any one got any advice where the best place this would be? Thanks

there are no different sources it all comes from the battery,
I think he knows that

Well, the stereo will have a permanent and an ignition feed, the ciggy lighter.
After that it starts getting sparse.
I'd look at plumbing in your AEM with your stereo. You might need to up the fuse slightly to compensate though - I don't know the draw of your AEM unit, can't imagine it'd be much though.
