Android Auto unit with floating screen for S2000?

I've gone a different route. Bought a Sony DSX-GS80 for the very powerful built-in amp, then added a stand alone Carplay / AA screen. Works really well together.

Which screen did you buy, and how does it connect to the Sony head unit?

I bought the Carpuride W901 Pro. It connect to the headunit via Bluetooth or Aux. I'm using Bluetooth. It's big but works well.
Be aware, that most of the cheaper units only support aux or FM as their audio output.

I made up a mount extension that bolts to my Modifry phone bracket thingie. I'll post a picture when I get home tonight.

No, the display has no understanding of the headunit.
