Default Another 07 Question...

Do all 07 models come with Vechile Stability Assist?

Or is it an option?

Thanks in advance.

Arggghhh placed on a deposit on one and not didn't check whether it had one.

Would you say its a pretty vital option to have?

At some point it was an option on UK cars then I think it became standard that might have been very recent.

When I bought mine from bobs they told me they had been getting VSA as standard on their euro imports since 56

Had my car for nearly 9 months now and I've had the VSA kick in just a couple of times when i've had a particularly over enthusiastic hoon round a roundabout - i'm bloody careful in the wet anyway so no problems there.

I think it's nice from a resale point of view (peace of mind for next owner and all that) but I wouldn't consider it necessary personally.

Why not just phone your dealer and check whether it's got it.

Regardless, you're getting a super car for a good price!

Remind me what colour combo you're getting?

Most of us drive S2000s without it, there would be pages and pages in this thread if you want to know whether it's "vital" (of course not!) or not.

However, it's something only you can answer.

That's why the Euro deal looked particularly good from what I remember - the fact that I could get a newer car (57 plate) and VSA all for less than the price of a second hand UK car.

Always the way with a new car.

Whatever happens, rest assured you'll absolutely love the car.

I've had a few drop tops and love this one for its character and the fact that others seem to love it too.

It's a great drive too!

absolutely not.

Its a nice to have, but not a necessity. 95% of S2000's don't have it and we all seem to cope.
