Default another exhaust thread

thinking of a temp replacement for my damaged exhaust as cant afford HKS system at the moment

seen this system on a certain web auction site item no 380081543726

any opinions? only plan to keep on for 6 months max (when MOT due)

VERY LOUD - I would doubt you'll get much for it when you sell in 6months

Single exit exhausts are famous for it. You will probably find people with apexi N1 which its a copy of.

But that can mean little in terms of quality of the pipes and muffler meterial used and the welding.

you take a chance. alternative is look for a 2nd hand HKS or similar. I'm sure one was up recently in FS

yea the HKS one sold now, also bid on a ziegen one on ebay,outbid in last min, wireless was too slow, typical!

I have bought one of those style exhausts for my old Civic.

The quality of the exhaust was really good! Steel seemed good, welds were great really well put together.

However, it was immensely loud, a lot louder than I thought.

Just remember that it's coming from the states, so it looks cheap at the moment but you would quite poss still get stung for duty. probably another

I agree, see if someone will sell you a stock OEM exhaust. They're great quality - in fact in almost 6 years on this board I've never heard of an OEM exhaust failing
