Default Another Ipod question

Probably already been asked but if I don't go for the Denison ICE link bells and whistle kit what other options are there, who does cables etc and how does it all link together, anyone have any pics of what they have done.

Can't remember who fitted one in their MY02 but it looked fantastic. I have an 00 so don't have the luxury of the centre consol slidey compartment to put the ipod in - where else could I stick it and still get access to it?

Lots of questions, guess I am lost in sea of options and looking for help.

What flavour head unit do you have?
If Alpine, they now do an adaptor which does all, and more, that the Denison thing does, and costs a lot less.
Most other HU manufs seem to be developing similar things.

I have one of these, and the iPod just lives in the cargo net in passenger footwell.

Not sure what head unit. I have the standard Honda stereo and the standard issue CD changer in the boot.

Don't you feel prone to having it nicked if it is visible in the cargo net?

If you've got the standard stereo, and don't want to change it then the Denison is the only option AFAIK.

Don't you feel prone to having it nicked if it is visible in the cargo net?
No. I don't leave it in there when the car is parked up!

Unless I'm missing the point why don't you just get an itrip for your ipod and have it in your pocket?

How about this then? Alpine Hard Disk Head Unit

If you've got all your music on your PC, just download it to the portable hard drive, stick it in the head unit and off you go - no unsightly wires, no thinking about where to put your iPod.

Don't know when it will be available in UK

I think this has been answered before, but too lazy to do a search. Does the Honda CD changer work with other head units?

I'm also looking to do something with my iPod, but not sure which root to take.
