Well what can I say? I didn't heed the warnings on here enough and this morining pulling away from a set of lights too hard the rear overtook the front and I ended up bouncing my S off of some concrete pillars.

Cars almost certanitly a write off as it has a huge crease in the front and another on the drivers sill.

Thankfully I got noone else involved and am unhurt, the police were satisfied there ws no need to go after me for dangerous driving ect so the only casualities were the car and my pride.

I'll try get some pics later, right now I guess I betetr phone the old insurance.

Unlucky fella, youll get back in the fold soon enough.

Regarding pulling away i can spin mine pulling away at low speeds, so its easily done.

What is it with these cars

Losing the back end accelearting from the lights really is odd. Oh well, best be careful out there.

Damn that's bad news.

Without trying to rub salt in the wound, I'm just wondering a few things to try and avoid doing this myself.

How old were your tyres?
Had you been driving long enough to warm them up?
Have you had a geo done?

That sucks to hear.

I am also interested (for prevention) in how it happened, not to point fingers or be an arsehole but I have given mine plenty of go in the wet and in a straight line it is all relatively predictable. I am assuming it was wet?

Hard lines fella, been there myself

At least your man enough to admit you drove like a cock and stacked it and not hidden behind the usual I dont know what happened so I'll blame diesel/geo/tyres, crap that often gets spouted on here when a driver runs out of talent.

or brakes
